Years behind on QuickBooks?
I get your books audit‑ready.

I specialize in forensic cleanups and complex reconciliations for small businesses across the US, UK, and Canada. If your books have years of uncategorized transactions, negative balances, or a misstatement you can't explain, that's exactly the kind of file I work on.

The process

How a project runs.

01

Intro call

We talk through your situation: how far behind you are, which accounts are affected, what you need the books for. No commitment at this stage.

02

Diagnose

I review your QuickBooks file and bank statements to map every discrepancy. You get a written scope and a quote before work begins.

03

Clean up & reconcile

Account by account. When I can't tell from the records which expense belongs to which job, or which deposit paid which invoice, I ask you.

04

Hand-off with clean reports

Reconciled accounts and corrected P&L and balance sheet reports, ready for your accountant or tax preparer. I stand behind every change and can walk you through any of it.

FAQ

Common questions.

What is a QuickBooks cleanup?

A cleanup means going through your QuickBooks file to fix miscategorized transactions, unreconciled accounts, duplicate entries, stale journal entries, incorrect opening balances, and anything else causing your books to disagree with your bank statements or financial reports. The end result is a file you can trust for tax filings and management decisions.

Do you audit books?

Yes. If you want to know whether your balance sheet balances are correct and your transactions are categorized properly, I can review your QuickBooks file and tell you what's wrong. This is a review of your books, not a CPA audit.

How long does a cleanup take?

It depends on how many years are behind, how many accounts need reconciling, and the volume of transactions. I review your books first, then send a written scope and quote before any work begins. I don't quote fixed timelines before seeing the file.

Which accounting software do you work in?

I work primarily in QuickBooks Online. I'm a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor.

Do you offer ongoing monthly bookkeeping?

Yes. Alongside cleanups and complex reconciliations, I provide ongoing monthly bookkeeping: categorizing transactions, bank and credit card reconciliations, and monthly reports such as P&L and balance sheet. Get in touch to discuss what you need.

How do we communicate during a project?

I reach out when I need information from you, and I'm happy to give you an update whenever you ask. You can reach me by email, WhatsApp, or a booked call.

Can I subcontract cleanup work to you through my firm?

Yes. I work with accounting firms as a white-label subcontractor. Your client relationship stays yours. Get in touch to discuss how that arrangement works.

How do I get started?
